Flacco or DTR?

The burning question in Cleveland right now is whether to stick with Joe Flacco or turn to DTR after Flacco's standout performance against LA Rams, arguably the best quarterback showing for the Browns this year. However, Coach Kevin Stefanski remains hesitant to name a starter as DTR is still in concussion protocol.

While DTR was making strides, there was a noticeable difference with Joe Flacco leading the way. Despite Flacco's impressive performance, he found himself back on the practice squad one day after his stellar showing, leaving Browns fans and analysts puzzled. Stefanski's reluctance to make a definitive decision adds to the suspense, and the quarterback situation becomes even more complicated if DTR clears the concussion protocol.

This potential scenario raises questions about the confidence in DTR, especially considering it would be the second time this season the rookie has faced being benched for a veteran quarterback. The Browns had initially traded away Dobbs before the season, expressing full confidence in DTR as the backup. However, things haven't gone as planned.

The assumption was that DTR would be a crucial piece moving forward, potentially as the backup to Deshaun Watson. Will benching him completely destroy any remaining confidence he has? The next few days will likely provide answers as the Browns prepare to face the Jaguars, aiming to snap their two-game losing streak and regain control of their playoff hopes.

Stay tuned as the quarterback saga unfolds in Cleveland. It's sure to be a storyline worth watching
